FIVE HAIKU BY TODD GRANT
police sirens
wail all night long
crickets on mute
our campfire glows
in a pearl black night
heating one lonely star
coyotes hunting
in yellow fields
excavating ancient stones
that mustard stain fades
leaves turning brown
an autumn sky
rivulets of brown hair
her soft language
a harvest moon
