Ode to Exxon

I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
See how they drown in the slick black scum,
see how they writhe, I’m crying.
Sitting on an iceberg—waiting for the end to come.
Corporation Exxon, stupid bloody money, man you been a naughty boy you ran your tank aground.
I am the dead one, they are the yes men—I am the walrus.

Shifty politicians screwing pretty little businessmen in the
boardroom.
See how they lie like fish on their backs—
see how they come
I’m crying—I’m crying I’m crying.
Coagulating ooze dripping from a dead seal’s eye.
Crabpots fishnets penetrating pipeline boy you been a busy girl, why don’t you leave us alone.
I am the dead one, they are the yes men—I am the walrus.

Sitting on an Arctic tundra waiting for the midnight sun,
if the sun don’t come you get a tan from swimming in the Bering Sea.
I am the dead one, they are the yes men—I am the walrus.
GooGooGooJoob
Exxon Texans smoking cigars don’t you think the seagull screams at you? Scree scree scree!
See how they fly, like birds in the sky, see how they die.
I’m crying.
Money grubbing fishmongers climbing up the Exxon ladder.
Corporation penguins singing Armageddon man you should have seen them rape
THE LAST FRONTIER.
I am the dead one, they are the yes men—WE are the walrus.
