January 16 - French Link stitch and origami pocket (excellent and strong binding)

February 20 - Boro Inspired Cloth book

March 12 - Illuminated Inspirations - Crocker Art Museum - 12 to 4:30 p.m. $55 museum members, $70 nonmembers

March 19 - Theatre Pop Up Book

April 16 - Junk Journal

May 21 - Slipcases (students will make a slipcase for a small book)

June ----- Fiber Arts - Embroidery - Crocker Art Museum

June 18 - Monotype by hand (excellent for creating artwork for covers, etc)

July 16 - Decorative bindings (learn two or more decorative bindings)

Aug 20 - Turkish Map Book

Sept 17 - Travel Journal (this is actually focusing on content, not necessarily travel content)

Oct 15 - Gesso Resist

Nov 19 - Movable Books

Dec 17 - Last Minute Gifts

 

Each class is $95 (including supplies and use of tools) and runs 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Pre-registration is required and class size is limited to 6 students.  Please contact trinaldrotar@gmail.com or visit www.trinaldrotar.BlogSpot.com.  Classes are held in Sacramento near Fulton and El Camino.

 

Some classes will be at the Crocker Art Museum - Illuminated Inspirations is a half day class on March 12 and will teach the making and use of egg tempera and egg glair and students will create a page (or more) with text (poems of their choice) and the egg tempera and glair.  Registration is through the Crocker Art Museum.  https://www.crockerartmuseum.org/classes/127
